Studies human responses to step changes of temperature and humidity through experiments under neutral-warm and neural-cool conditions with thirty subjects from hot-humid area of China. By analysing experimental data in aspects of physiological and psychological responses and their relationships, finds the phenomenon of psychological lead and overshoot under sudden heating. Thermal sensations under step changes have quadratic relationship with skin temperature and linear relationship with change rate of skin temperature. Establishes the predictive models of human responses to step changes.
